The natural borders in Poland are: the Baltic Sea in the north, Bug River in the east, rivers - Odra and Nysa Łużycka in the west and Karpaty + Sudety Mountains in the south. Poland is surrounded with 7 countries: Germany, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Ukraine, Byelorussia Lithuania and Russia.
In our country we have four Seasons. The landscape is variegated because of the layout - lowlands in the north, uplands in the middle of the country but also with hollows and mountains in the south.
The highest range is Tatry with many streams, waterfalls, lakes and the highest peak Rysy - 2499m.
The Scandinavian Glacier has left many lakes of different type, the biggest ones are ¦niardwy and Mamry in Mazury.
From the north down to Karpaty Mountains our country is divided into two sections with the longest polish river - Wisła, which is 1047 km long.
